That’s why we started a personalized adoption matchmaking program for both dogs and cats!
Here’s how it works:
Submit an adoption application.
We complete a veterinary reference check.
Once approved, we schedule a meet & greet at our Plant City shelter. Our adoption coordinator will reach out to you first to show you some pictures and videos of pets that we think would make a good fit. We will discuss their personalities and then you can decide if you want to come meet them.
We introduce you to pets we believe would be a great fit for your home.

Instead of overwhelming you with dozens of choices, we help guide you toward the pets whose personalities and needs best match your family.
We have a private, air-conditioned adoption center that has a sofa for adopters to relax while meeting their potential new best friend. This “living room” style environment helps our shelter pets feel comfortable and show off their pawsome personalities. We provide you with toys and treats and give you time to meet some wonderful pets who are looking for a second chance at forever.
